WE Fit Wellness Program
Beverage Company Helps Bring Healthy Options to People with Disabilities
March 2, 2015-( Colorado Springs, CO) Push Beverages, LLC has been named the official beverage of the WE Fit Wellness program to help offer health and wellness options for people with disabilities. To support the program, Push Beverages has provided an initial $10,000 grant, along with a promise to provide ongoing support, to be used toward developing education and research initiatives nationwide to encourage healthy lifestyles. The need for the WE Fit Wellness program arises from a high frequency of obesity, diabetes, and other lifestyle-related health problems among people with disabilities. The program also provides robust targeted training and consulting for concessionaires wanting to provide customers on government property more healthful choices.
“Push Beverages was the obvious choice as the official beverage of the WE Fit Wellness program,” stated Jessica Beecham, WE Fit Wellness Program Director. “Their commitment to the cause has been unwavering and their beverages provide a unique range of healthy options hard to find in today’s market.”
Working with such programs in not new for Push Beverages. In past years, they have worked closely with the National Federation of the Blind (NFB) and have included a Braille literacy message on the PUSH-2-0 water bottle label to raise awareness.
